COUNSELLING
AND
THERAPY

IN
WATERFORD

A space to slow down

understand what is happening

feel yourself and find your way forward

You may be considering therapy because…

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted or stuck. Perhaps you are going through a difficult transition, adjusting to life in a new country, struggling in a relationship, or simply feeling that something needs to change.

You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can start with whatever feels most important to you right now.

  • anxiety, persistent worry or emotional overwhelm

  • burnout, exhaustion or feeling disconnected from yourself

  • relationship difficulties, separation or divorce

  • difficulties connected with migration and starting again in a new country

  • loss, grief or other painful life experiences

  • parenting challenges and family relationships

  • low mood, lack of motivation or a sense of losing meaning

  • traumatic or overwhelming experiences

  • a wish to understand yourself and your relationships more deeply

How I work

I do not see therapy as a place where you are given ready-made answers or told how you should live. For me, therapy is a collaborative process — a space where we can slow down and make sense of what is happening in your life.

Together, we can explore your feelings, needs, relationships and patterns of behaviour, including the ways you may have learned to cope with difficult situations. As you become more aware of what is happening, you can begin to make choices that feel more your own.My role is not to fix you, but to stay alongside you, help you notice what may be difficult to see on your own, and support you in finding your own way forward.

A safe and respectful space

Therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you have never worked with a therapist before. You do not need to know exactly what to say or where to begin.

We will work at a pace that feels manageable for you, with respect for your experience, your boundaries and your individual way of making sense of things.

Start with a conversation

If you are unsure whether therapy is right for you, you are welcome to get in touch. We can talk briefly about what is bringing you to therapy and whether I may be the right person to support you.
